The Taiwan Dental Student Association (TDSA) is a nonprofit student government organization, composed of students from eight Departments of Dentistry in Taiwan, including China Medical University, Chung Shan Medical University, Kaohsiung Medical University, National Cheng Kung University, National Defense Medical Center, National Taiwan University, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, and Taipei Medical University. In September 2015, we registered with the Ministry of Interior and became an official civil association.

Experiencing reorganization, we now have five departments, including the Department of International Affairs, the Department of Oral Hygiene, the Department of Public Relations, the Department of Student Welfare, and the Department of Activity.

The Department of Oral Hygiene focuses on voluntary work and oral hygiene education, improving the social connections of dental students. The Department of Public Relations is the communication window of the TDSA, helping with information connection and organizational cooperation. The Department of Activity holds all kinds of activities, connecting eight dental schools of Taiwan through academic communication and entertainments. The Department of International Affairs is responsible for international communication. It aims to connect Taiwanese dental students to the world. The department of Student Welfare strives for the rights of dental students. It plays close attention to national policies and issues of dental students.

We expect to establish good interactions and communications through cooperation of dental students from various schools, in order to achieve the wellbeing of Taiwanese dental students. At the same time, we wish to become a mature organization with more services that contributes to society.
